The Rose Parade is one of the most beautiful part of U.S.A.’s New Year Celebration. It is held every year in Pasadena, California. It is a festival of flower-covered floats and marching bands.
Most importantly the Rose Parade floats are one of the most beautiful experince. It is not only moving wonders but are botanical works of art. These decorated floats can be closely seen at the Showcase of Floats sponsored by Miracle-Gro in the days following the Rose Parade. All the floats that traveled along Colorado Blvd. line up at the end of the parade on Sierra Madre and Washington boulevards for visitors to get a good long look at these whimsical and beautiful creations.
Tournament of Roses volunteers are available to explain the floral decorations on the commercial floats, and volunteers from the six self-built floats regale visitors with details and specs of their floats.
It is almost like a fair with children activities, food stools, ATMs and so on. Tickets are available at the venue or from Sharp Seating for $10 each. Children age five and under are free. Do collect the free brochure on the way in, which includes a map of float locations, vendors, and restrooms.
